Arunoday Singh is an Indian Film actor. He was born on 17th of February, 1983 in a Rajput family, which based in Mendora village near Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. His father, Ajay Singh, who is leader of opposition of Madhya Pradesh State Assembly. And his grandfather Arjun Singh, was  the former Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh& Union Minister. He did his education from a boarding school in Kodaikanal, after which he studied in Brandeis University. He decided to become actor after watching actor Marlon Brando in ‘On the Waterfront’(1954). After completing graduation, he did a few acting courses in New York Film Academy and also acted in many plays. After giving several auditions, finally he made his big screen debut in the year 2009,with directorial venture of Piyush Jha, ‘Sikandar’ in which he played a role of Kashmiri freedom fighter. He was next seen in Anil Kapoor’s home production ‘Aisha’ (2010), which was an adaption of Jane Austen’s novel, Emma. The film featured Sonam Kapoor and Abhay Deol in the leading roles. In that same year he appeared in ‘Mirch’, in which he played a lead character of a struggling filmmaker. The movie was directed by Vinay Shukla and also starred Raima Sen and Konkona Sen Sharma. Thereafter in the year 2010,he appeared in Sudhir Mishra’s  directorial flick  ‘Yeh Saali Zindagi’, alongside Irrfan Khan and Aditi Rao Hydari. For his performance he received nomination for Best Actor  in a category of supporting role at the 18th screen awards. He was next seen in Pooja Bhatt’s erotic thriller flick ‘Jism 2’ alongside Sunny Leone and Randeep Hooda. Then in the year 2014,he acted in David Dhawan’s comedy film ‘Main Tera Hero’, which also featured Varun Dhawan, Ileana D’Cruz and Nargis Fakhri. In that very same year he did two movies named ‘Pizza’ and ‘Ungli’. Then in following year he appeared in ‘Mr. X’(2015) opposite Emraan Hashmi & Amyra Dastur. In the year 2016,he will soon appeared in Ashutosh Gowariker’s epic-adventure romance flick  ‘Mohenjo Daro’, alongside Hrithik Roshan and Pooja Hegde.
