got tuition? Spends a Few Days at U. of Missouri at St. Louis
"Got Tuition?" talked with students at the University of Missouri at St. Louis Tuesday night during a chili dinner outside Oak Hall, thanks to an invitation from UMSL Student Government President GraceMarie Ritter. Sixty-two students signed the "Got Tuition?" petition asking federal and state elected leaders to make college education more affordable for more students and put on "Got Tuition?" t-shirts to raise awareness of college affordability as a national issue in 2008.
"Got Tuition?" returned to the University of Missouri at St. Louis Thursday and met with students in the Quad, thanks again to an invitation from UMSL Student Government President GraceMarie Ritter. There, fifty more UMSL students signed the "Got Tuition?" petition asking federal and state elected leaders to make college education more affordable for more students and put on "Got Tuition?" t-shirts to raise awareness of college affordability as a national issue in 2008.
"Got Tuition?" continues a series of "Day of Action" activities at area colleges and universities leading up to the Vice Presidential Debate at Washington University on October 2.
