Got Tuition hits Ole Miss for the first official Presidential Debate

Students signed petitions on Issue Alley to make college affordable, appeared on CBS’s Early Show, and were on the set of MSNBC’s Hardball to make their voices heard about the need to increase financial aid and help students with burdensome student loan debt.

The 90 minute debate was to focus exclusively on foreign policy, yet the first 30 minutes focused on the crisis in the economy.  Sen. Obama mentioned the issue of college affordability twice--once in his opening statement (2:18-2:56 on the video) .  Sen. McCain did not mention the issue at all.  Take action and tell both candidates what you think!  Share your story  and Got Tuition will send them to both Senators as well as Members of Congress.  Sign our petition to make college more affordable.
