Imran Khan is an Indian film actor who predominantly appears in Hindi movies. He was born on 13th January,1983, in Madison, Wisconsin, United States to Anil Pal who Anil Pal and Nuzhat Khan. He is the nephew of most popular Bollywood actor Aamir Khan and director turned producer Mansoor Khan. He is grandson of late director-producer Nasir Hussain. He is married to Avantika Malik in the year 2011 and the couple have one girl child. He studied at Bombay Scottish School and also attended Fremont High School.  Upon graduation he aspired to become a director, and hence he went onto Los Angeles to pursue a filmmaking degree at the New York Film academy, in Los Angeles. After completing graduation, Imran ventured into market research & advertisement. He eventually moved to Mumbai and joined acting institute of Kishore Namit Kapoor. He made his appearance as a child artist in his uncle Aamir’s films like ‘Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak’ (1988) and ‘Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikander’ (1992). In both the movies he played the character of a young Aamir Khan. Thereafter, in the year 2008, he made his debut as a lead hero with the flick ‘Jaane Tu… Ya Jaane Na’, which was directed by Abbas Tyrewala as well as it was produced by Aamir Khan & Mansoor Khan and also starred beautiful actress Genelia D’Souza. The film received huge critical acclaim and emerged as one of the biggest hit of the year. His performance earned him the Filmfare award for Best Male Debut. Following the film he starred in Sanjay Gadhvi’s thriller flick ‘Kidnap’. His performance was well appreciated by critics, but the film was a commercial failure. And then in the year 2009 he featured in Soham Shah’s action thriller flick ‘Luck’, alongside Sanjay Dutt, Shruti Hassan, Mithun Chakraborty & Danny Denzongpa. After failure of successive films, he was next appeared in ‘I Hate Luv Storys’ (2010), opposite Sonam Kapoor. The movie garnered mixed reviews. He earned positive reviews for his role in Abhinay Deo’s English language black comedy film ‘Delhi Belly’. The film opened to great acclaim and was a commercial success. Later that year he acted in Ali Abbas Zafar’s romantic comedy venture ‘Mere Brother Ki Dulhan’, alongside Ali Zafar & Katrina Kaif. Thereafter he acted in several movies such as ‘Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu’ (2012), ‘Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola’(2013), ‘Once Upon Ay Time In Mumbai Dobaara!’(2013), ‘Gori Tere Pyaar Mein’(2013), ‘Katti Batti’(2015).
