Partu Story & Plot
The story revolves around a Rajasthani boy name Prithvi, who visits Mumbai in 1968 with his uncle Prem Singh to see Mumbai’s famous places. After enjoying Mumbai destination places, he return back to his home after two weeks but while going he get separated with his uncle at crowded station of Mumbai. In such critical time, he catches another train without knowing where it will take him. He reaches Ahmednagar which is 200 km far away from Mumbai city. A Marathi farmer name Lakshman finds him and take him at his home. His wife don’t accept this stranger. They try to find his family and parents even after having a language barrier among them but Laksham stays unsuccessful in finding his family. After months and years, Prithvi starts getting close to his family and start living life along with them. He starts speaking their local language, adapting their routines. Prithvi lost the hope but Lakshman still hope that one day he will meet his parents.
15 years later in 1985, he gets married after reaching at the age of 24 in Ahmednagar. Lakshan and his family join a pilgrimage to northern region of Indian country. He again tries to find out and finally reaches at the door of Prithvi real parents and his home. Prithvi family get happy seeing him after 15 years. He starts living with his new family but find difficult in adjusting with his real family. He gets torn and disappoint about the two families, the one that raised him for the least 15 years and the other who lived without him for 15 years.
How it is direct and brought up on screen and how she comes out from this situation forms the rest of the film story.
