Rajeev Khandelwal is an Indian television and film actor as well as host. As, one of the most famous Indian television & film actors he has established a career in Hindi television shows as well as movies. He also garnered many awards for his different performances. He was born on 16th of October, 1975 into a Marwari family, in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. He is son of Lt. Lt. Col. C.L. Khandelwal (retired) & Vijay Laxmi Khandelwal. He has two brothers namely, Sanjeev and Rahul. He completed his schooling from Kendriya Vidyalaya, Jaipur. And then he did Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry from Ahmedabad’s St. Xavier’s College. On 7th February, 2011, he got married to Manjiri Kamtikar. Rajeev began working with a Delhi located production house, and also modeled for some brands such as LML, Green Label Whiskey, Videocon and much more. Before marking his acting career in Hindi films, he worked in series of television shows. He started his television career with a role of villain in the show named’ ‘Kya Hadsaa Kya Haqeeqat’ (2002). In the same year he signed Balaji Telefilms romantic drama ‘Kahiin To Hoga’, for his portraying he won awards of Best Debut and Best Actor. Then in the year 2005 he was seen in Ketan Mehata’s action television series ‘Time Bomb 9/11’. He then appeared as ACP Prithviraj in C.I.D (2006) and also acted in one of the Pakistani shows ‘Sun Leyna’. He featured in youth based drama series ‘Left Right Left’ (2006-2007). In the year 2008,Rajeev made his Bollywood debut Ronnie Screwvala’s directed tight thriller flick ‘Aamir’, alongside Aishwarya & many others. For his performance in this film he earned the nomination of Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut. He next appeared in the Bejoy Nambiar’ thriller movie ‘Shaitan (2012), co-starring Kalki Koechlin. Then he was next seen in Sanjiv Goenka’s film ‘Soundtrack’ opposite Soha Ali Khan. The film earned good amount domestically. In that same year he appeared in ‘Will you marry me?’ alongside Shreyas Talpade & Mugdha Godse. He was next appeared in psychologic mystery thriller ‘Table No. 21’(2013), which also featured Paresh Rawal and Tena Desae. He was next acted in the romantic comedy flick ‘Ishk Actually’(2013) opposite Neha Ahuja. Then he was seen in Rajashri Producations drama thriller film ‘Samrat & Co’ alongside Madalasa Sharma. Then in year 2015, he appeared in the Indo-Australian movie ‘Salt Bridge’, the film received huge appreciation from critics. After seven years he made comeback on small screen with Shrishti Arya, through Goldie Behl’s media drama based finite television show titled, ’Reporters’. He will soon be appeared in Rajeev Jhaveri’s ‘Fever’ and Remo D’Souza’s ‘DOA Death of Amar’ which also featuring Zarine Khan. And he has also signed Virendra Arora’s romantic movie, ‘Abhi Nahi Toh Kabhi Nahi’.
